Full Biography

Mireille Darc, born in 1938 and often compared to Brigitte Bardot, started her film career in 1960. She appeared in around 50 films, including 'Dandelion By The Roots' (1964), which marked the beginning of her collaboration with director Philippe de Broca. They made over a dozen films together, such as 'La Grande Sauterelle' (1967). Darc is notably recognized for her role in Yves Robert's comedy 'Le Grand Blond Avec Une Chaussure Noire' (1972), where she famously wore a backless dress. She worked with Alain Delon in films like 'Jeff' and 'Borsalino', and they had a long-standing romantic relationship, even reuniting on stage in 2007 for 'The Bridges Of Madison County'. Darc took a break from acting in the 1990s but continued working in television series until the early 2000s. She also directed several documentaries for TV.
