Early thirty-somethings Daniel Bloom and Will Morrison were once inseparable best friends, with Maggie Claire, Will's wife, completing their tight-knit group. Five years ago, Will abruptly disappeared without a trace, causing a rift between him, Daniel, and Maggie. Now, Will resurfaces at the lakeside home of Daniel's parents, Arthur and Mary Bloom, announcing he has finished writing a book set to be published.
