ストーリー

Luisa De Dominicus, a Milanese piano teacher, moves to Lucca believing her lover Ferdinando 'Bonci' Marinotti is single and eager for their life together. Unbeknownst to Luisa, Bonci is a politician with a wandering eye and an ailing mother who doesn't approve of their relationship. The young boys in Luisa's apartment building mistake her for a high-class call girl due to her late-night visitors (Bonci) and the piano lessons being mere cover-ups for her profession. They drill a hole into the wall between Luisa's flat and Marcello Busatti, the landlord's son, bedroom, allowing them to spy on Luisa's presumed activities. Marcello becomes infatuated with Luisa while grappling with his perception of her as a prostitute. Eventually, Luisa discovers Bonci's infidelity, leading to a misunderstanding that results in an intimate encounter between her and Marcello.
