Ballers follows Spencer Strasmore, a former NFL superstar turned financial advisor and mentor to current and retired players. After retiring due to injuries, Spencer struggles with his purpose in life until he finds fulfillment by helping other players navigate the business side of football. Alongside his friends Charles and Joe, Spencer helps players invest wisely, deal with contracts, and manage their endorsements. Through Spencer's mentorship, we see the daily grind of professional athletes, from partying and dealing with injuries to managing money and facing personal challenges.
