ストーリー
Happily married couple William and Madeleine Lasserre, both in their middle age, live a comfortable life after their daughter moves to Italy. Madeleine, an accomplished painter, discovers during one of her walks in the Vercors region a rural farmhouse that she falls in love with. Meanwhile, they meet Adam, the sophisticated blind mayor of the town, and his charming young wife Eva. When disaster strikes Adam and Eva, William and Madeleine invite them into their home to help them get back on their feet. As Eva recovers from her ordeal, she begins a passionate affair with William while Madeleine continues her love for painting and befriends Adam.
