Maribel Verdú, born María Isabel Verdú Rollán on October 2, 1970, is a Spanish actress with a career spanning nearly four decades. She began acting at age 13 with 'Captain Sánchez's Crime' (1985). Notable film credits include 'Lovers' (1991), 'Belle Époque' (1992), 'Y tu mamá también' (2001), 'Pan's Labyrinth' (2006), and 'The Blind Sunflowers' (2008). She won two Goya Awards for Best Actress. ストーリー
Margot, a beautiful woman, maintains her aged father by deceiving men on trains. She slips them a drug called 'beso de sueño' and steals their money and jewelry. One night, she targets a currency smuggler transporting 100 million pesetas out of Spain. Both a cop and a burnt-out alcoholic named Salvatierra, who occasionally works for a corrupt banker, pursue Margot after the theft. The cop suspects Salvatierra of collaborating with Margot, but Salvatierra has his own motives. He becomes Margot's protector as complicated feelings develop between them. The fate of the stolen money hangs in the balance.
