Adèle Haenel, born on February 11, 1989, began her acting career at age 12 with Les Diables (2002). She gained prominence as a teenager and was nominated for her first César Award for her role in Water Lilies (2007), directed by Céline Sciamma, with whom she shares a long professional relationship. Haenel won her first César Award for Best Supporting Actress in Suzanne (2014) and the César Award for Best Actress in Love at First Fight (2015). She has since been recognized for roles in BPM (Beats per Minute) (2017), The Trouble with You (2018), and Portrait of a Lady on Fire (2019).

ストーリー
In 1976 Nice, Agnès Le Roux, daughter of the Palais de la Méditerranée's owner, falls in love with Maurice Agnelet, a handsome lawyer ten years her senior. Against this backdrop of high-stakes casino wars, Fratoni, a rival of Agnes' mother, offers Maurice three million francs to take control of the casino. Agnes accepts the offer but feels betrayed by Maurice. After attempting suicide, Agnès disappears.
