Irene Montalà was born and raised in Barcelona, Spain. She began her acting career in the late 1980s, gaining recognition for her roles in various theater productions. In 2005, she made her television debut in the series 'El cor de la ciutat'. However, her breakthrough came with her role as Eva in the popular Catalan soap opera 'Ventdelplà' (2005-2008). She has since appeared in several other TV shows and films. Montalà is also a theater actress and has participated in numerous stage productions throughout her career.
