In 'Third Person', three interconnected stories unfold across continents. In Paris, Pulitzer-winning author Michael (Liam Neeson) is holed up in a hotel suite with his mistress Anna (Olivia Wilde), struggling to finish his book while navigating their tumultuous relationship. Meanwhile, in Italy, American businessman Scott (Adrien Brody) meets Roma woman Monika (Moran Atias) at a café and becomes embroiled in her quest to reunite with her daughter, leading them both into danger. Back in New York, former soap opera actress Julia (Mila Kunis) is fighting for custody of her son against her ex-husband Rick (James Franco), resorting to working as a maid in the same hotel where she once stayed as a guest. The stories intertwine and reveal how each character's secrets and lies connect them all.
'Third Person' (2013) is a complex drama directed by Paul Haggis, exploring themes of love, deceit, and identity through interconnected storylines set in Paris, Italy, and New York. The film weaves together three narratives featuring an ensemble cast including Liam Neeson, Adrien Brody, Mila Kunis, and James Franco. Each character grapples with their own challenges while unknowingly connected to the others, creating a intricate web of drama that reflects Haggis' signature style from his Academy Award-winning 'Crash'.
