ストーリー
Moontrap is set in the year 2035 when NASA receives a distress signal from the moon's far side. Astronauts Martin and Stepanov are sent to investigate, discovering an abandoned Russian probe and signs of advanced technology. Meanwhile, Dr. Susan Geber is researching strange meteorites on Earth that induce paranoia in those exposed to them. Back on the moon, Martin encounters a hostile alien creature which attacks him. He returns to Earth with samples from the moonbase and the meteorite. Upon returning, Martin exhibits erratic behavior, leading his colleagues to believe he's been infected by the alien organism from the meteorites. To prevent an outbreak, they quarantine Martin and attempt to understand the entity, unaware that it can assimilate technology and grow rapidly. As the alien escapes containment and begins assimilating electronic equipment on Earth, Martin must find a way to stop its destruction before it consumes the planet.
