Kelly Reilly, born on 18 July 1977, is an English actress who gained significant recognition for her stage performance as Miss Julie at the Donmar Warehouse, earning a Laurence Olivier Theatre Award nomination for Best Actress in 2003. She became the youngest nominee ever for this award at the age of 26. Reilly also received critical acclaim for her role as Wendy in 'The Russian Dolls' (Les Poupées Russes) at the Cannes Film Festival, winning the Best Newcomer Award in 2005.

Jenny, a nursery teacher, and her boyfriend Steve escape to Eden Lake for a romantic weekend. Steve plans to propose but their peaceful trip turns sour when they encounter a gang of teenage hooligans led by Brett. The teens steal their belongings, vandalize their car, and when Steve confronts them, he's severely beaten. Fleeing into the woods for help, Jenny becomes the target of a cruel game of cat-and-mouse as the teens chase her relentlessly through the night.
