Golshifteh Farahani, born on July 10, 1983, is an international Iranian actress with dual Iranian and French nationality. She began her acting career at age six and has appeared in over 40 films, many of which have been screened or awarded at international festivals. Some notable works include 'Half Moon' by Bahman Ghobadi, 'Santoori' by Dariush Mehrjui, 'M for Mother', and 'About Elly' by Asghar Farhadi. She gained global recognition in Ridley Scott's 'Body of Lies' (2008), becoming the first Iranian to act in a major Hollywood production. Other notable films include 'Paterson' (2016) with Adam Driver, the last 'Pirates of the Caribbean' installment (2017), and 'Santa & Cie' (2017).
