Set against the backdrop of Iran's Islamic Revolution, 'Fasle Kargadan' (2012) tells the tale of Sahel, a poet from the Shah era, and Mina, the daughter of a wealthy family, who are deeply in love. However, Mina's driver also harbors feelings for her. As the revolution approaches, he seizes political power and uses it to imprison Sahel for 30 years and Mina for 10 years. After her release, Mina is told that Sahel has died and she accepts a proposal from the driver to accompany him to Istanbul.
