Gregory, a 20-year-old college student struggling with feelings of insignificance and lack of dreams, sees Liv, another sophomore, on campus one day and immediately falls in love. Meanwhile, Liv begins a relationship with Ilia, an older Russian army deserter, losing her virginity to him and experiencing her first love.
