Rebecca Maria Hall, born May 3, 1982 in London, England, began her acting career at age 10 in a TV adaptation of 'The Camomile Lawn', directed by her father Sir Peter Hall. She won the Ian Charleson Award for her stage debut in 'Mrs. Warren's Profession' (2002). Parade's End unfolds during World War I against the backdrop of societal upheaval in Europe. Christopher Tietjens, a conservative English aristocrat and top civil servant from a wealthy background, finds his marriage to Sylvia, a mean socialite, crumbling almost immediately after their nuptials.
