She gained recognition as a promising newcomer in 2010 with her nomination for the London Evening Standard Film Awards. Known for her roles in films such as 'Tormented', 'Chatroom', 'Cleanskin', and 'The Imitation Game', Middleton has also made significant appearances on television, including 'Bones', 'Friday Night Dinner', 'Black Mirror', and 'Sense8'. In 'Cleanskin', former-soldier-turned-secret-service-agent Ewan (played by Sean Bean) is assigned to work undercover as a bodyguard to arms dealer Harry. During his mission, he finds himself involved in a bloody shootout with a member of an Islamic terrorist cell who steals Harry's briefcase full of Semtex explosives and escapes. Following the incident, Ewan's spymasters task him with tracking down the cell members and retrieving the stolen briefcase.
'Cleanskin' (2012) is a British action-thriller directed by Hadi Hajaig, starring Sean Bean as Ewan, a former soldier turned secret service agent. The film revolves around Ewan's undercover assignment to protect an arms dealer named Harry, which takes a violent turn when a terrorist cell steals explosives intended for sale on the black market. As a result of this incident, Ewan is ordered to hunt down the terrorists and recover the stolen Semtex before it can be used in potential attacks.
