Alexa Vega (born Alexa Ellesse Pena-Vega on August 27, 1988) is an American actress, singer, and pianist best known for her roles in Spy Kids films as Carmen Cortez, Shilo Wallace in 'Repo! The Genetic Opera', and Ruby Gallagher in the ABC Family series 'Ruby & The Rockits'. Born to a Colombian father and American former model mother Gina Rue, Vega has six siblings. She moved to California at age four. Vega married film producer Sean Covel in 2010 but divorced him in 2012. In 2013, she became engaged to actor Carlos Pena Jr., whom she married in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, changing her surname to PenaVega. Vega is Christian and fluent in Spanish, with interests in freshwater fishing and gymnastics. She is close friends with Nikki Reed.

ROYAL PAINS revolves around Dr. Hank Lawson, a skilled E.R. physician who leaves his prestigious position after being unfairly blamed for a patient's death.
