ストーリー
In the remote countryside of Ilocos, Philippines, local men sexually abuse women, including Tonya, a repressed young woman who teaches catechism to children after the priest leaves. Tonya secretly desires Simon, the handsome butcher and village heartthrob, but publicly disdains him. Meanwhile, Selda, Tonya's promiscuous friend who moved to the city five years ago with her American lover Ronald, returns home. The two women compete for Simon's affection despite their contrasting views on sex: Tonya is guilt-ridden while Selda is liberal. Simon has an affair with Mona but remains devoted to Tonya. When Selda's past resurfaces and Ronald leaves her, the dynamics between the friends intensify.
