Sally Kirkland, born October 31, 1941, is an American actress with a career spanning over six decades. She began her career as part of Andy Warhol's The Factory and New York avant-garde theater in the 1960s. Kirkland has appeared in over 250 films and TV shows. Notable roles include 'Anna' (1987), for which she received an Academy Award nomination, winning a Golden Globe among other accolades, and 'The Haunted' (1991) where she earned another Golden Globe nomination. In 'In the Heat of Passion', a struggling actor lands his big break by playing the role of a rapist in an episode of 'Crimebusters'. While filming, he meets and begins an affair with a wealthy married woman. However, things take a dark turn when her husband finds out about their relationship and is accidentally killed during a heated argument between the three.
