India Juliana Orban, born to an Anglican minister of British lineage and a full-blooded Native American mother, was a former model who became Playboy's Playmate of the Month for December 1987 and subsequently won Playmate of the Year in 1988. After her win, she pursued acting roles primarily in B movies but also ventured into producing films such as 'Almost Hollywood' (1994) and writing/producing 'The Rowdy Girls' (1999). She directed schlock horror films for Troma Entertainment, though they were deemed unreleasable. In her personal life, she was married to sportscaster Bill Macatee but the couple eventually divorced.

Charles and Elaine find themselves in a stale marriage until Charles takes over his friend's photography studio specializing in glamour shots for women's husbands or boyfriends.
