Tricia Janine Helfer, born on April 11, 1974 in Donalda, Alberta, Canada, is a Canadian actress and former model. She gained significant recognition for her role as Number Six in the re-imagined Battlestar Galactica miniseries and television series (2003-2009). Additionally, she portrayed 'Carla' on Burn Notice (2007-2010) and FBI Special Agent Alex Rice on Dark Blue (2009-2010), and hosted the first season of Canada's Next Top Model (2006). She has been involved in various charity events, including animal rescue efforts and supporting relief for the Gulf oil spill. Notably, she posed nude for Playboy magazine in 2007.
