40 Gradi all'ombra del lenzuolo is a comedic anthology film consisting of five unrelated short sketches, each showcasing Italian sexual humor. In one sketch, British comedian Marty Feldman plays a bodyguard hired by a young woman's father to watch over her at a beach resort. However, the bodyguard's watchful eye turns into lust as he can't help but admire her from afar and eventually tries his luck with her. Another sketch involves Barbara Bouchet playing a married woman whose husband is away on business. A mysterious stranger offers her twenty million lire in exchange for sex, repeatedly pursuing her despite her initial reluctance. The twist ending reveals the true nature of both the man's intentions and his offer.
