Angelina Jolie, born June 4, 1975 as Angelina Jolie Voight, began her film career with a minor role alongside her father Jon Voight in 'Lookin' to Get Out' (1982). Her first significant role was in the low-budget sci-fi thriller 'Cyborg 2' (1993). A decade after her screen debut, she won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for 'Girl, Interrupted' (1999), and later became internationally recognized for portraying Lara Croft in 'Lara Croft: Tomb Raider' (2001). She has since starred in numerous films like 'Mr. & Mrs. Smith' (2005) and 'Maleficent' (2014), and also made her mark as a filmmaker, directing several films including 'In the Land of Blood and Honey' (2011) and 'Unbroken' (2014).

ストーリー
In late 6th-century Denmark, King Hrothgar's mead hall Herot is plagued by Grendel, a monstrous troll. Hrothgar offers rewards to anyone who can slay Grendel, drawing the attention of Beowulf, a boastful but great Geat warrior. Beowulf arrives with his thanes and challenges Grendel without armor. After a fierce battle, Beowulf defeats Grendel by tearing off his arm but is pulled into Grendel's watery lair by his mother seeking vengeance. There, Beowulf agrees to a devil's bargain in exchange for information about how to kill Grendel permanently. He returns to Herot and becomes King of Denmark after Hrothgar steps down. Years later, Beowulf faces the consequences of his past actions and must confront his own weaknesses.
