Blade: The Series (2006) follows the titular character Blade, a half-human/half-vampire hunter known as a Daywalker. In this television series, Blade battles against vampire threats in modern-day New Orleans while struggling with his own vampire bloodlust and his mission to eradicate the species that created him. Alongside his allies Whistler, a mentor figure who is fully human, and Krista Starr, a cop turned vampire hunter after being attacked by vampires, Blade faces off against various clans of vampires led by the powerful and cunning Marcus Van Scyver.
