In Japanese-occupied Shanghai during World War II, Old Wu, a veteran assassin seeking revenge against Yee, a powerful official responsible for his family's death, enlists the help of Kuang and Mai Tai Tai, along with their drama students from Hong Kong University. Mai Tai Tai infiltrates Yee's inner circle by posing as Mak's wife, befriending Yee's wife and ultimately gaining Yee's trust. Despite their growing connection, they eventually part ways. Four years later, Mai Tai Tai attempts to entrap Yee once more at Chandni Chowk Jewellers owned by Khalid Saiduddin. The film follows the tense cat-and-mouse game between Mai Tai Tai and her troupe against Yee, with the ultimate outcome remaining uncertain.
