In a future dystopia controlled by an unnamed state, individuality is suppressed through mandatory drug regimens that eliminate desire and encourage conformity. Sexual intercourse and relationships are banned, and citizens live in a manufactured enclosure patrolled by robocops. THX 1138, a loyal subject who works building robocops, begins to experience strange feelings.
