After graduating high school early, she moved to Los Angeles and worked various jobs before landing roles in television shows such as 'Dallas' (1978) and the TV movie 'Calendar Girl Murders' (1984). Christian's big break came when she was cast as Susan Ivanova on the science fiction series 'Babylon 5' (1994).

In 'The Hidden', an alien parasite capable of possessing human bodies and controlling their actions embarks on a violent crime spree in Los Angeles, committing numerous murders and robberies.
