John Hayson, once a promising writer now disillusioned and going through an existential crisis after a personal tragedy, attends his high school reunion where he reunites with three old friends. Among them is his former love interest, whom he had wronged in the past. John tries to mend their relationship and get his life back on track but soon finds himself entangled in a web of deceit, passion, and murder when someone winds up dead.
