During the French Revolution, many noble families are trapped in a chateau, including the infamous Marquis de Sade who is shunned by others due to his scandalous reputation. A teenage girl, who feels stifled by her family's expectations, befriends the Marquis behind their backs. Intrigued by his enigmatic persona and intellect, she becomes drawn into his world of sexual liberation.
