Kim Basinger, born December 8, 1953 in Athens, Georgia, is an American actress and former fashion model. After starting her career as a model in New York, she moved to Los Angeles and began acting on television in 1976. She gained prominence for her role as Domino Petachi in 'Never Say Never Again' (1983) and won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in 'L.A. Confidential' (1997). She starred alongside Richard Gere in the psychological thriller 'Final Analysis' (1992), playing a woman involved with her psychiatrist brother-in-law, married to a Greek mobster.

ストーリー
The Cole family's lives are shattered when their two teenage sons die in a car accident. Marion Cole withdraws from her husband Ted and daughter Ruth, while Ted, a renowned children's book author, becomes distant and turns to writing adult novels. Ted hires Eddie O'Hare, a college student who bears an uncanny resemblance to one of the deceased sons, as his assistant for the summer. Meanwhile, Marion begins an affair with Eddie, while Ted has an affair with their neighbor Evelyn.
