Discovered at age 16 by Claude Autant-Lara, she appeared in various German and Italian films like 'Flight from Ashiya' (1964), 'The Golden Claws of the Cat Girl' (1968), and 'Camille 2000' (1969). She married Radhamés Trujillo Martínez in 1963 but divorced in 1968. During 'Snow Job', she met and married ski champion Jean-Claude Killy in 1972, retiring from acting to have a daughter. Gaubert passed away at age 44 due to cancer.
