After serving two years at the front during World War I, Paul returns home severely injured and deserted. His wife Louise helps him hide his injuries by dressing him as a woman named Suzanne in the vibrant, post-war Paris of the Roaring Twenties. After being granted an amnesty, Suzanne begins to explore life as a man again.

'Nos années folles' (Crazy Years) is a French drama film directed by André Téchiné and released in 2017.
