In 'Ma vie en cinémascope', we follow the life of Alys Robi, a renowned vocalist who rises to fame in the early 1950s Montreal. Born in Québec and interned by her father at age 13, Alys leaves home to pursue her dreams under the name Alys Robi. She first works at the National Theatre with La Poune, who takes her under her wing, before joining John Grimaldi's cast.
