The story of 'La professoressa di scienze naturali' unfolds when the local science teacher hurts herself during a failed experiment and is hospitalized. Consequently, she is temporarily replaced by Stefania Marini, a young and attractive woman who has just graduated from school herself. Upon arriving in town, Stefania finds herself the object of affection for several men, including a young baron and even many of her male students. One of these students, Andrea Balsamo, holds an advantage over the other suitors as he is part of the family with whom Stefania is staying.
