Diane discovers that her husband Hermann, a renowned publisher, plans to publish a book by Worms, Diane's former fiancé, which contains details about their relationship. This revelation causes tension in their marriage. Meanwhile, Hermann encounters his ex-girlfriend Anne at a cemetery, who he left for Diane years ago. Unbeknownst to them, Worms photographs the encounter and sends the picture to Diane, causing further strain between her and Hermann.
