Fathers and Daughters follows Jack (Abraham Attah), an accomplished Pulitzer-winning writer who experiences a mental breakdown after the loss of his wife. He struggles to cope with being both a widower and a single father to their young daughter, Mary (Kylie Rogers). Twenty-seven years later, Mary is now grown up (played by Jane Fonda) but still bears the emotional scars from her tumultuous childhood.
