In 'Eu Te Amo', Paulo, a wealthy Brazilian man, begins the film devastated after his wife Barbara leaves him for another man. In his drunken despair, he meets Maria in a bar. Initially pretending to be a prostitute, Maria is actually seeking male companionship after being emotionally neglected by her lesbian lover.
