In the southern region of Sweden known as Skåne, a teenage boy from Somalia named Abdi (played by Mohamed Ahmed) and an older Iranian man named Ali (played by Bahram Beyzai) meet in a refugee camp. Facing the looming threat of deportation, they decide to take matters into their own hands and embark on a journey together during the Swedish summer.
