Avery Quinn, fleeing from murder charges and presumed insane by the authorities, seeks refuge in the Alpha Omega Pi house. Desperate to prove her innocence and sanity, she takes several residents hostage and performs a ritual to summon the Sandman, a legendary figure said to grant dreams or nightmares depending on one's intentions. Avery hopes that confronting her captives with their deepest fears will force them to acknowledge her claims of innocence. The summoned Sandman begins to manifest everyone's worst nightmares, leading to a terrifying ordeal where each hostage must face their personal demons to survive.
