A once-successful artist named Dezzy Donahue, living in Los Angeles, finds herself creatively blocked and professionally stagnant. In desperation to complete her masterpiece, she turns to drugs to stimulate inspiration. However, her drug use spirals out of control, leading her down a dark path where she develops an inexplicable craving for blood.
