Federal agent Alexandra Barnes suspects Catherine Petersen of being a serial killer who marries wealthy men and murders them for their money. Unable to prove this conventionally due to Catherine's mastery of disguise and multiple identities, Alexandra goes undercover. Directed by Bob Rafelson, 'Black Widow' (1987) is a neo-noir thriller that follows federal agent Alexandra Barnes's cat-and-mouse game with suspected serial killer Catherine Petersen.
