After her mother's death, 17-year-old Prudence lives alone in Paris. She meets Maryline, a rebellious teenager who introduces her to motorcycle racing at Rungis. Belle Épine is a coming-of-age drama directed by Rebecca Zlotowski in 2010. Set in Paris, the film explores themes of adolescence, rebellion, self-discovery, and friendship as seen through the eyes of two teenage girls, Prudence and Maryline. After Prudence's mother passes away, she finds solace in her newfound freedom and the thrill-seeking lifestyle Maryline introduces her to on the biker circuit at Rungis.
