A mysterious book titled '1', which describes future events in detail, suddenly fills an entire bookshop with identical copies, each appearing blank until opened by a specific person. The event draws the attention of the Bureau for Paranormal Research, who interrogate and imprison the bookshop staff while investigating the phenomenon.
